Sanja Louise, the former wife of Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo, has publicly reacted following the helicopter crash that killed him and his wife, according to TUKO. The report describes a Facebook response and the sympathy directed towards the family, including the children.
Relatives and members of the family’s church were also reported to have gathered at the home. The article places these reactions within the immediate aftermath of the September 30 tragedy. It does not provide a substantive quotation from Louise’s post that would support a detailed account of her words or intentions.
Her reaction should therefore be described without inventing a tribute or assigning feelings beyond the reporting. The family’s bereavement is the focus of this entry; the technical cause of the accident remains a separate investigative question. Source article
Investigation background
In an October 1 update covered separately by TUKO, Zimbabwean police revised the number of people aboard the helicopter from six to five and said nobody survived. The aircraft crashed at Kudenga Farm in Marondera at approximately 5pm on September 30. Police named Chivayo, Lucy Rujeko Muteke, her aide Saneliswe Magagula, pilot Calvin Tafirei Soda and copilot Courage Mutavirwa.
Authorities said investigations were continuing and further information would follow. The report also described claims by security aide Froster Chisi, who had been travelling in another aircraft, about weather and radio communication before the crash.
Those claims had not been verified by investigators. The corrected police statement is the firmer basis for the casualty count, while eyewitness explanations must remain attributed. Combining the two reports gives readers both the family response and the official status of the inquiry.
It does not establish mechanical failure, pilot error or weather as the cause, and no final accident findings were presented in either account. Further official findings would clarify the sequence of events. Background: police update, 1 October
