Aisha Saringe Claims Men Gift Her Upwards of KSh 300,000 Without Expecting Anything in Return

Kenyan video vixen and model Aisha Saringe (popularly known as Miss Saringe) has claimed that men have been giving her large sums of money—upwards of KSh 300,000—without asking for her phone number or expecting anything in return.

Saringe, who rose to prominence as the lead model in Bien’s hit music video I’ll Be Okay, made the remarks in recent media interviews. She said some men are too shy to express their feelings verbally and prefer showing admiration through cash gifts.

According to reports of her comments, she disclosed receiving KSh 130,000 from a stranger at a club along Thika Road, KSh 300,000 from a married man she met while in Dubai (who was accompanied by his wife), and KSh 100,000 from another stranger at Club Gemini during her birthday celebration. In one interview with Alex Mwakideu, she referenced a one-time gift of around KSh 280,000–300,000.

Saringe has also spoken about receiving more than 100 direct messages from men after the video went viral, as well as outreach from politicians including governors and MPs offering jobs, nominations, or holidays. She has described some of the political approaches as unserious.

The claims have circulated widely on Kenyan social media and entertainment platforms, drawing mixed reactions about “pretty privilege,” viral fame, and the attention that followed her appearance in Bien’s video. Saringe has previously noted both the positive opportunities and the downside of increased public recognition, saying she can no longer move around freely in some places without being recognised.
